Why Paul Ryan's Retirement is Good for the GOP
Today, Paul Ryan openly rejected the House GOP's articles for impeachment against Rod Rosenstein. Ryan has rejected multiple proposed Republican bills in his time as Speaker of the House. This constant rejection shows that Ryan is just another establishment Republican, and is just a part of the swamp. Rep. Jim Jordan announced that he is running for Speaker of the House in 2018 this morning (7/26/18) and he would clearly be a better choice than Ryan. Some problems are present, however. Ryan is a lot more well-known than Jordan in most areas, due to him being the VP candidate in 2012. Hopefully, Jim Jordan can possibly be a lot better of a Speaker than Ryan, and can help the GOP pass better and more bills.
